Dr Tan Hon Liang

Visionary. Leader. Educator

Dr. Tan Hon Liang graduated from National University of Singapore and was determined to be as complete a physician as possible. He obtained qualification in Internal Medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom [MRCP (UK) and M.Med (NUS) (Internal Medicine) in 2008, before going on to qualify as a specialist in Anaesthesiology [M.Med (NUS)(Anaesthesia)] and Intensive Care Medicine [EDIC] in 2013 and 2016 respectively. He gained international exposure by spending a year each in one of Europe’s largest Intensive Care Units at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Birmingham, UK) in 2011 and in the world renowned Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA) in 2014. On his return to Singapore in 2015, he was appointed Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Singapore General Hospital.

He actively participates in medical education and was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor (Duke - NUS Medical School) and Core Faculty for Intensive Care Medicine for the SingHealth Anaesthesia Residency Program, as well as President of the Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Singapore. His commitment to his work has won him many accolades, including the Outstanding Faculty Award in 2016. An avid mountain bike cyclist, he regularly seeks out new trails around the world to challenge himself and experience local cultures.

Dr Kenneth Tan Hock Soon

Pioneer. Leader. Mentor

Dr Kenneth Tan obtained his medical degree (NUS) and completed internal medicine, anesthesiology and intensive care medicine training in Singapore and at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, United States. He has been a leading figure in the field of critical care & anesthesiology for the past 25 years. He was the Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, National University Hospital and have groomed more than one generation of intensive care doctors.

Passionate about adding value to the critical care scene in Singapore, he is regularly involved as a speaker in various training seminars and works with hospitals to continuously evolve critical care. His contribution in the Singapore medical field has resulted in him receiving many accolades and he is widely recognised as a mentor and pioneer in Singapore.

  • Setup of Integrative Critical Care, Anesthesia and Pain Services (ICCAPS) in 2011 and expanded team of 2 to current group of 11.


Soh Gin Wee

Business Development Director

Gin is the third and final member of the founding team and is trained in the field of finance and accountancy. Having spent the last 14 years in spearheading sales and business growth in various financial institutions, he is well-recognised for his business management skills in delivering results both locally and in Asia.

A highly driven individual with a sharp analytical mind, he has rolled out and implemented various sales operating models across Asia in a cost efficient manner. Being the only non-medically trained member of the team, he brings about different perspectives and insights as CMS build towards a sustainable and patient-centric business.

    Drs. Tan Hon Liang and Kenneth Tan are accredited by the Ministry of Health Specialist Accreditation Board and possess post-graduate qualifications in Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesiology.

    Both graduated from the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and went on to pursue their ideals of a complete medicine education. That pursuit led them to training in various public hospitals, year long stints in United States and United Kingdom, and finally to private practice in Singapore.
